Chassis
- Remove 4 self-adhesive plastic dots covering the screw holes.

- Remove the four 2mm screws with a Phillips screwdriver.

- Remove the back and bottom cover.

- Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard with a plastic opening tool.

- Disconnect the microphone connector from the motherboard with a plastic opening tool.

- Remove the display ribbon cable from its socket with a plastic opening tool.

- Remove the volume knob from the side of the Chumby One with a plastic opening tool.

- Remove the four 6mm screws using a PH000 bit on the inner chassis.

- Remove the inner components from the outer shell.

- Remove the speaker connector using a plastic spudger.

- Remove the Chumby button connector using a plastic spudger.

- Remove three 6mm screws using a PH000 bit.

- Remove the motherboard by pulling straight away from the housing.
- Removing the motherboard there are 2 pins and socket connectors that may cause injury.
