What you need

Step 1

              Water Pump               
  • Disconnect battery cables from battery posts.

  • Safely Jack up car to remove the passenger side front tire.
  • Remove splash guard in wheel well by removing Phillips head screws around parameter and a few plastic clips.

Step 3

              Remove air filter box               
  • unscrew one fastener and disconnect any hoses to the engine.
  • two additional ‘push-on’ connecting points on the underside.
  • disconnect the baffles to the intake manifold(optional but makes much needed room)
  • Remove sensor on the baffles which can be pulled off by first sliding a red tab on the electrical connection.

Step 4

              Drain coolant               
  • Unscrew the white knob on the driver side bottom of the radiator.
  • Remove fill cap to allow for quicker drain

Step 5

              Optional engine fan removal               
  • Some people will remove the engine fan to allow for more working space.

Some people will remove the engine fan to allow for more working space.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
