Keyboard
- Remove the small rubber circles over all four corners on the bottom of the chromebook.
- Remove the three small additional rubber covers along edge of computer with hinge.
- Unscrew all the screws on the bottom of the laptop using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
- Make sure to keep track of the screws for reassembly.

Step 2
- Flip the laptop back over to the front and open it so that the keyboard is visible.
- Use the iFixit opening tool to pry off the keyboard by placing the tool in-between the keyboard and the case. Move the tool around all sides until the keyboard separates.
- The keyboard will likely be difficult to remove.
- Be careful to avoid pulling on the ribbons that connect the keyboard to the internal components in order to prevent damage.

- Carefully unclip the ribbons under the keyboard to disconnect the keyboard.
- Replace the keyboard and connect the ribbons to the new keyboard.
- Press the computer case shut and replace the screws and rubber pads.
