The curler randomly turns off or stops spinning, no sign of power.
Make sure the power chord is properly plugged into the outlet. Check for any signs of loose power chord to the curler.
Curler may shut off if there is hair stuck in the barrel. Make sure the barrel is clean and free of any excess hair or buildup.
Check to make sure the outlet the curler is plugged into is working, try another outlet.
If the is no sign of power to the curler, the chord may be faulty. Replace the power chord using this guide.
If the curler is not turning on, but the power cord is still intact, the motherboard may need to be replaced by following this guide.
Even after curling the strand of hair is done, the curler keeps spinning.
Make sure the button is popping back out fully when done curling. Make sure there is nothing pushing the button down or making it stick. Clean the space around and under the button.
If the button is fully releasing when done curling, the button and electrical component of the spin button may need to be replaced using this guide.
You have trouble cleaning the curler.
If you find there is still buildup of hair products on the curler, wipe down the surfaces and barrel with a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad.
If you are using the provided cleaning tool and find it is not working properly or efficiently, make sure that you are inserting the tool properly.
This curler should be cleaned using the cleaning tool at least once a week depending on how frequently the curler is being used. This will prevent excess build up.
Hair is getting caught in the curler.
Inspect the barrel of the curler, if there are cracks in the ceramic, the barrel may need to be replaced using this guide.
This product may gather buildup of hair product or strands of hair in the barrel, make sure to properly clean this product once a week by using the provided cleaning tool as well as wiping down the surfaces with a cotton pad with a small amount of alcohol, while also removing any hair trapped in the device.
If the hair gets tangled in the product, make sure to turn the curler off, clean out any excess hair, and reset by turning off the device and turning it back on to begin using again.
The temperature is not setting, or the wand is not heating up to the correct temperature.
If the temperature is not being properly set by the buttons, the temperature control switch may need to be replaced and can be done by following this guide.
If the curler is not heating up to proper temperature, or is heating too high, the heating component will need to be replaced by following this guide.
The wand is beeping and flashing reset.
If the curler is being used following with a flashing “Reset” and beeping, there may be hair tangled. Turn off the curler, remove tangled hair slowly, and make sure any excess hair is cleaned from the barrel. Turn device back on and begin using again.
