Not all of the food is cooked all the way through.
In the middle of the cooking process, pull the drawer out and shake, stir, or flip the food. Return the drawer into the unit to restart the cooking process.
After the timer ended, all of the food was not cooked thoroughly.
It’s a common misconception that air fryers do not require oil when cooking. It is actually recommended to brush or spray a small amount of oil on the food before heating in order to make it crispier.
Turn up the temperature and re-fry the food while checking every 1-2 minutes.
Fry for a longer time and check on the food every 1-2 minutes.
While in use, the fryer does not heat up.
The Chef Di Cucina CC500M has a heating element that relies on the air inlet. Ensure that the air inlet is functioning properly by putting a piece of paper over the top while the device is in use. If the paper is sucked in towards the vent, then you know that air is being allowed in through the vents.

The device may be plugged in a power outlet that is not functioning properly. Ensure the power supply is plugged into a functioning power outlet.
Burning smell coming from the fryer after use.
After using the air fryer there may be left over food or oil stuck in the basket that can’t be seen or it’s stuck on the surface. To avoid this problem, make sure to unplug the air fryer first, and then clean the area of the basket with proper cleaning materials before you use it again for cooking.
High temperature air flows through the outlet while it’s in process, and the heater is more powerful than the air outlet. Sometimes, it can overheat and not allow the air outlet to cool down properly. If the heater seems to be the problem, try to cook your food at a lower temperature, although your food will take longer to cook as a result.
If the air outlet does not function, try gently cleaning the outlet with pipe cleaners or a snake as there may be particles stuck in between that is preventing the air outlet from functioning. The grill to the outlet is located on the back side of the product.
The fryer basket does not shut entirely once ready to cook.
Determine the basket track has a clear path, so that it can close properly.
Ensure the amount of food in the basket does not exceed the height of the basket or capacity of 5.5L.
Fan does not rotate while in use.
The fan of the air fryer has a thermal fuse connected to regulate temperature. If corrosion is visible, the fan may need to be replaced.
Make sure the nut to the fan is screwed in and not missing. The nut is located in the center of the fan, above the heating coil.
