Introduction

A functional battery provides power to the watch such that the hands of the watch start functioning properly to show correct time.

What you need

  • Place the watch upside down.

  • Remove the back cover of the watch with tweezers.
  • This should reveal a plastic cover once the back is removed.

  • Remove the plastic cover with the tweezers.
  • You should now see the battery compartment.

  • Remove the battery with the tweezers.
  • Use your fingers to remove the battery if you find it difficult using the tweezers.

  • Insert the new battery by pushing down gently.
  • The battery needed for this watch is an SR920SW.
  • Recycle the old battery.

  • Place the plastic cover back over battery compartment.
  • Align the marked area of the plastic cover with the crown of the watch.
  • The crown is the knob that is used to set the watch.

  • Put the cover back and tighten it shut by pressing on it.
