What you need

Step 1

              Removing the straps
  • The trick is to hold the watch body and strap in one hand using your finger(s) to apply downward pressure to the strap while using your freehand to press down with the screwdriver head on the holding pin. If you get this right the pin and the top of the strap will come straight out

Step 2

Removing the back of the watch
  • Removing the back of the watch is much more simple. Both sides have two catches which can be gently pried open by using the head of the screwdriver. Be careful not to loose the small rubber seal when removing the watch back.

Step 3

              Loosen (or remove) the battery
  • Gently lift up the sticker to access the battery. There is a small hole for prising the battery out, but as I did not need to remove the battery I only used it to jiggle the battery about. Therefore I did not see if there were additional fixings or note the battery number.

Step 4

              Reassembly
  • While reassembly is the reverse process care must be taken to site the rubber seal back in the grove. Also be aware that there is a greater risk that the strap fixing pin may ping out and disappear so have a torch at hand to try and relocate the small shiny object!
