This guide will teach you how to replace the furnace filter in a Carrier 58MSA060-08 furnace.
What you need

- Locate the furnace disconnect switch.
- Flip the switch from the “ON” position to the “OFF” position.

- The filter is located in between the return duct and the main furnace unit.

- Pull the filter cover off of the duct to remove it and expose the filter.

- Examine your furnace to determine the air flow direction.

- Your old filter may also have an arrow indicator on the side.

- Remove the old filter by pulling it out of the duct.

- Insert the new filter.
- Pay attention to which direction the new filter should face before inserting it; make it is correct.

- Reattach the filter cover.
- Ensure that the filter cover is securely in place.

- Turn on the furnace.
- Flip the switch from the “OFF” position to the “ON” position.
