You have trouble saving and/or playback of pictures or videos on your camcorder.
There is no way to restore lost memory. However, to prevent future loss of memory frequently back up your media using a computer.
Check the memory card and insure it has been inserted all the way and inserted correctly. If it is, try removing the card and reinserting. If neither of the previous fixes work, try again using a different memory card, it is possible there is a problem with the memory card reader. This camcorder is unable to recognize the following media formats:
- PALSECAM
View these media formats on either appropriate computer software or the device it was originally formatted on.
This message appears when the power supply was interrupted while the camcorder was transferring memory from the memory card to the internal memory. Select “YES” to recover memory when prompted. If memory is not recovered, save recordings and initialize the memory.
Common errors that arise when transferring files via WiFi.
Closing the LCD panel turns off the camcorder. So, ensure you keep the panel open while you are transferring files. Ensure the memory card cover is fully closed. If you have a wireless microphone connect, you will need to disconnect the microphone before you attempt to transfer files over a wireless connection.
Power off the camcorder, wait five minutes, then power it on again.
Issues with the fold-out display screen on the port side of the camcorder
If your display is glitching out, or not powering on at all, try restarting the device. Remove the battery pack and hold the power button for thirty (30) seconds, then power the camcorder back on. Issues powering on your camcorder.
Ensure the battery pack is inserted correctly. Try replacing and/or charging the battery pack. If the battery pack is not charging, ensure your camcorder is powered down.
If the camcorder is not staying powered on while disconnected from the charger, the battery pack is faulty and will need to be replaced.
