Introduction
This guide may be necessary if your camcorder if experiencing any of the following: the battery is inserted incorrectly, the battery pack is incompatible with the camcorder, or the camcorder is dead.
Step 1
Battery
- Orient your camcorder upside down, with the model number sticker facing towards you.

- Place your thumbs on the battery compartment.
- Push down and forward on the square divot to open the battery compartment.
- The compartment should now hang over the top of the camcorder.

- Lift the battery cover towards yourself to open it.

- Pull the battery out by placing your finger at the indentation and pulling towards yourself.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
