  • In this step, you will be opening the battery compartment. You can use a plastic opening tool, flathead screwdriver, or any other tool that is similar. On the device there is the word “open” with an arrow pointing in the direction to open the battery compartment.

  • In this step you will remove the batteries. If you tip the camera so it horizontal the batteries will simply fall out, which is much simpler than trying to pick them out of the compartment.

  • In this step you will add new 3V batteries. You need to make sure they are in the right charge (+,-) port which is labeled when you look inside the battery compartment with a positive and negative sign (positive side of the batter has a little lip negative side is completely flat).

  • Now that the new batteries are in you can put the cover on top and screw back on the top cover. You have successfully changed the batteries.
