What you need

Step 1

              Back Camera Housing               
  • Position the camera so that the right side is visible as shown.
  • Unscrew the two 6 mm screws shown using a screwdriver.

Step 2

  • Remove the plastic flap by pressing down on the center of the hinge and pulling on the flap with the spudger.
  • Then, unscrew the lone 6mm screw that was under the plastic flap.

Step 3

  • Turn the camera so that the bottom is visible, as shown.
  • Unscrew the three 4mm screws shown red using a screwdriver.
  • Unscrew the single 6mm screw.
  • Do not touch the screw shown yellow, removal is unnecessary. (Note: the top right yellow screw should be removed)

Step 4

  • Turn the camera so the back side is visible, as shown.
  • Unscrew the two 6mm screws.

Step 5

  • Gently remove the back cover using the spudger.
  • Exercise caution, as the wire inside is fragile.

Step 6

  • Detach the wire by lifting the small black bar that holds it to the main body of the camera.

Step 7

  • Attach the new cover onto the camera.

  • Reattach the wire to your new rear casing.

Step 9

  • Close the back cover, and re-insert appropriate screws.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
